Cowpocalypse

Immersive save-the-animals game for Project Tango

Design Process

Cowpocalypse is a game that I helped design during my internship at Left Field Labs. This game was one of the first games designed for Project Tango's 3D advanced motion mapping capabilities to provide a AR-like experience on a mobile device.
The mechanics of the game was designed to be simple and intuitive for anyone to play. Players simply walk in or out of the frame to move closer to the setting, and use touchscreen to fend off enemies.
I helped in the early stages to brainstorm ideas on how to best leverage Tango's capabilities. I also created, rigged, and animated low poly 3D models from concept art.
The game was also showcased in 2015 GDC in Google's booth
